Overview

Our Tricks and Skills Classes are held ONLINE (live and recorded). They are designed to make learning fun for both you and your dog, while teaching them key service dog skills in the low-distraction setting of your own home.

In these sessions, you’ll discover new tricks, build practical skills, and strengthen your bond—all in a positive, engaging social setting. Engage as much or as little with fellow students as you like – but sometimes it helps to watch others work through challenges, too!

Whether you’re looking to add a bit of joy to your training routine or refine useful tasks, our expert instructors create a supportive environment where you and your dog can learn, grow, and celebrate progress together.

This program is open to all members of the public. You do not need a disability.

Our classes are topic-specific. Topics include:

  • Targeting With Nose and Paw
  • Retrieves and Deliveries
  • Comfort Behaviours
  • Tug Work (Opening/Closing Doors, Clothing Removal etc)
  • Fancy Footwork (Walking Weaves and Orbits)
  • Alerts
  • Scent Detection
  • Crowd Pleasers (Reading, Speaking etc)

Tuition

$50/ session
  • $100 for 2-session clinic
  • $200 for 4-session clinic
  • Minimum class size: 3
  • Maximum class size: 6

Demo Dog

1 per class
$150per session
  • Have the trainer use your dog as demo dog!
  • This option is only available to those who live within 45 minutes from Coquitlam/New Westminster BC
