Overview

Our one-on-one online training sessions use Google Meet or the video meeting method of your choice. If you live outside of the Vancouver area, or are otherwise unable to meet with us in person, we can coach you from a distance.

Using Meet’s live captioning, which is quite good, we can hold video meetings with the Deaf and hard of hearing.

While distance coaching does not fully replace in-person learning, we have had many clients who were successful in following our guidance from a distance. We often encourage you to work in-person with a well-educated and ethical trainer, and simply turn to us for guidance regarding service-dog specific training and help.

Sessions are usually 60 minutes unless you request shorter meetings.

We recommend meeting weekly, especially for the first month or two, but we can tailor your meeting frequency to meet your specific needs.
